Leaves from the Journal of our life in the Highlands, from 1848 to 1861, to which are prefixed and added extracts from the same journal giving an account of earlier visits to Scotland and tours in England and Ireland and yachting excursions, edited by Arthur Helps. Full red cloth binding with very large gilt design. Joints cracked, spine faded, bottom board a little soiled but first board beautiful. One corner more dulled. The paper is very nice and free of foxing. Includes all 7 steel engravings and 2 chromolithographs. Rare in this large folio format.
